EDUCATIONAL & INTERPRETIVE SERVICES AT MCARTHUR BURNEY FALLS STATE PARK: 35,000 VISITOR GUIDES WERE PRINTED & DISTRIBUTED TO PARK VISITORS. THE VISITOR CENTER WAS CLOSED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND WILDFIRES, BUT OUTSIDE TABLES SERVED 50-100 VISITORS A DAY ON THE WEEKENDS. INTERPRETATION WAS PROVIDED "ON THE ROAD" INFORMALLY 3 TIMES A DAY ON TRAIL WALKS, TALKING WITH VISITORS AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NATURAL AND HISTORIC ASPECTS OF THE PARK. WEBSITE INTERPRETATION WAS PROVIDED VIA THE INTERNET THROUGHOUT THE SEASON.
