THE CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF COUNCILS OF GOVERNMENTS (CALCOG) WORKED TO ENSURE THE SUCCESS OF ITS 35 MEMBERS, MADE UP OF VARIOUS COUNCILS OF GOVERNMENTS, BY FACILITATING COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION SHARING AMONGST ITS MEMBERS IN AREAS OF IMPORTANCE TO THEM. THIS INCLUDED PEER-TO-PEER LEARNING, FACILITATING PARTNERSHIPS WITH CALTRANS, AND THE CTC, EDUCATING MEMBERS ABOUT TRANSPORTATION, FINANCING, COLLABORATION WITH OTHER STATE AGENCIES TO ENSURE PROPER RESOURCES ARE IN PLACE FOR MEMBER AGENCIES, MONITORING STATE LEGISLATION OF IMPORTANCE TO MEMBERS, AND OTHER SPECIAL PROJECTS DEEMED OF IMPORTANCE TO ITS MEMBERS.
