RIVENDELL NURSERY SCHOOL HAS ONLY PROGRAM SERVICE WHICH IS TO PROVIDE A NURSERY SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR 25 CHILDREN AGES TWO YEARS TO FIVE YEARS. RIVENDELL IS A YEAR-ROUND, FIVE DAYS A WEEK PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES A WEALTH OF SUCCESSFUL LEARNING EXPERIENCES BY OFFERING AN INTEGRATED CURRICULUM, PROVIDING BOTH TEACHER GUIDED AND CHILD INITIATED ACTIVITIES. THE PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED TO PROVIDE A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES, ADDRESSING THE DEVELOPMENTAL LEVELS OF THE CHILDREN AS WELL AS THEIR INTERESTS AND STRENGTHS. THE INDIVIDUALITY OF EACH CHILD IS ENCOURAGED WHILE SOCIAL BEHAVIORS SUCH AS COOPERATION AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS ARE PROMOTED, RIVENDELL PROVIDES A LEARNING EXPERIENCE THAT REINFORCES CHILDREN'S FUNDAMENTAL NEED TO LEARN AND PLAY IN A JOYFUL AND CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT.
