DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. ONE HUNDRED FOURTEEN (114) PEOPLE FROM OUR REGION, NINETEEN (19) FROM OTHER TOWNS, AND SIX (6) PEOPLE WITHOUT DISABILITIES WERE ASSISTED, TOTALING ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN (137) IMPACTED PERSONS. NINE (9) PEOPLE BENEFITED FROM STATE ID FOR LAW 51/107, ONE (1) FOR LAW 51/108, AND TWO (2) WITH STATE ID, MAKING A TOTAL OF TWELVE (12) IMPACTED PERSONS. TWENTY-FIVE (25) PEOPLE FROM THE COMMUNITY BENEFITED FROM REMOVABLE LABELS. THROUGHOUT THE FISCAL YEAR, 1,350 PEOPLE WERE IMPACTED THROUGH SERVICE FAIRS, SERVICE OUTREACH, AND INFORMATIONAL BOOTHS. CEPVI PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO THREE AGENCIES (PUCPR, APNI, ENFASIS PR), BENEFITING A TOTAL OF NINE (9) PERSONS. SIX (6) RADIO PROGRAMS WERE CONDUCTED, INCLUDING BREAKING BARRIERS, WHERE 27 PERSONS SERVED AS RESOURCES (CONSUMERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENCIES, COMMUNITY). ADDITIONALLY, ELEVEN (11) EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND LECTURES WERE OFFERED AT CEPVI, IMPACTING 158 PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, 135 WITHOUT DISABILITIES, FOR A TOTAL OF 293 PEOPLE. CONSUMERS MANAGED TO ACQUIRE ADVOCACY SKILLS AND PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE, THEY PARTICIPATED IN VARIOUS ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES BEFORE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE IDENTITIES WHERE CONSUMERS WERE THE PROTAGONISTS. SYSTEMATIC CHANGES WERE ACHIEVED IN FAVOR OF THE COMMUNITY.CONSUMERS WERE SERVED THROUGH ALTERNATIVE METHODS USING TECHNOLOGY, THROUGH THE INTERNET, CELL PHONES, TABLETS AND COMPUTERS.DIFFERENT PUBLICATIONS WERE CARRIED OUT WHERE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES PROMOTE THE PHILOSOPHY OF INDEPENDENT LIVING THROUGH THEIR EXPERIENCES ON THE INTERNET, RADIO AND TELEVISION.THE CREATION OF INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS MODULES WAS ACHIEVED WHERE SEVERAL CONSUMERS WITH VARIOUS DISABILITIES QUALIFY IT AS ACCESSIBLE.
