CONNELLSVILLE CANTEEN: A RECREATION OF THE ORIGINAL B&O TRAIN STATION IN CONNELLSVILLE IS A WORLD WAR II MUSEUM AND SHOWCASES A 25' X 50' MODEL RAILROAD DISPLAY.
DOWNTOWN CONNELLSVILLE: A 'MAIN STREET' STYLED INITIATIVE WORKING ON THE REVITALIZATION OF THE DOWNTOWN DISTRICT IN CONNELLSVILLE UTILIZING THE 4 POINT APPROACH WITH COMMITTEES FOCUSING ON ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING, PROMOTIONS, ORGANIZATION AND DESIGN.
RURAL ARTS PROGRAM: A PROGRAM THAT PUTS LOCAL ARTISTS IN SCHOOLS TO WORK ALONG SIDE TEACHERS TO DO PUBLIC ART PROJECTS WITH STUDENTS. THE PROJECTS ARE THEN INTEGRATED INTO THE SCHOOL'S COMMUNITY.
