THE MARYLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY SERVES THE PEOPLE OF MARYLAND, AND THOSE INTERESTED IN MARYLAND HISTORY, THROUGH STEWARDSHIP OF COMPREHENSIVE LIBRARY AND MUSEUM COLLECTIONS THAT ARE CENTRAL TO THE STATE'S HISTORY, BY PROMOTING SCHOLARSHIP THROUGH PUBLICATIONS AND BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AT ITS OWN CAMPUS AND THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

GALLERY AND MUSEUM - DISPLAYS AND TOURS WHICH HELP TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON CERTAIN HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND EVENTS AS THEY RELATE TO MARYLAND HISTORY.


EDUCATION - EXPENDITURES FOR TOUR GUIDES, OUTREACH PROGRAMS, AND LECTURES WHICH PROMOTE EDUCATION OF MARYLAND HISTORY.
