SHARE YOUR HEART IS VICTORY FOR YOUTH'S PRIMARY PROGRAM. IT IS A COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT SERVICE FOR FAMILIES, ADULTS, CHILDREN AND ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, MIAMI DADE SCHOOL POLICE, COMMUNITY CENTERS, CHURCHES, ETC. ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED IN THE FORM OF CLOTHING, FOOD AS WELL AS SPIRITUAL AND EMOTINAL SUPPORT. TRAINING FOR CERTIFICATION AS COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT) MEMBERS AND OUR DCF APPROVED CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST IN TIMES OF DISTRESS AND DISASTERS. DURING THE PANDEMIC, THE AGENCY SERVED PVER 290,000 PEOPLE. IN 2022 THE AGENCY SERVED OVER 78,000 PEOPLE.
SUMMER FEEDING IS A PROGRAM SPONSORED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. CHILDREN ATTENDING SUMMER PROGRAMS IN LOW SOCIO ECONOMIC AREAS ARE SUPPLIED WITH MEALS DURING DAYS THAT THEY ARE NOT IN SCHOOL DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION IS A SERVICE OFFERED BY THE AGENCY TO ASSIST PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES TO OBTAIN JOB TRAINING AND PLACEMENT. THIS PROGRAM IS SPONSORED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.
