THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS EVENTS TO PROMOTE FELLOWSHIP AMONG ALL RELIGIONS AND CULTURES.

AFTER A 2-YEAR HIATUS DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE ANNUAL FELLOWSHIP DINNER RESUMED IN PERSON ON MAY 4, 2022, AT THE BREAKERS PALM BEACH. THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER WAS SUSAN EISENHOWER, GRANDDAUGHTER OF THE LATE FORMER PRESIDENT, AND THE PRESTIGIOUS 2022 JOHN C. RANDOLPH AWARD WAS PRESENTED TO COMMUNITY LEADER MICHAEL AINSLIE. THE EVENT, WHICH INCLUDED A COCKTAIL RECEPTION FOLLOWED BY DINNER AND THE PROGRAM, HAD APPROXIMATELY 180 ATTENDEES, INCLUDING TWO TABLES OF LOCAL TEACHERS AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SPONSORED BY BOARD MEMBERS.


THROUGHOUT THE SEASON, THE FELLOWSHIP OFFERS LECTURES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES TO ENCOURAGE INTERACTION AND MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION AMONG COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF ALL FAITHS AND BACKGROUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR MISSION.


OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, THE ANNUAL ESSAY AND CREATIVE ARTS COMPETITION INVITES STUDENTS TO EXPRESS THEIR THOUGHTS ON A SELECTED THEME SUCH AS ADVOCACY, COMMUNITY, HOPE, AND JUSTICE, THROUGH THE WRITTEN WORD, VISUAL ART, MUSIC, VIDEO, AND OTHER CREATIVE MEDIA. TOP ENTRIES ARE HONORED AT A CEREMONY WHERE PRIZES ARE AWARDED TO THE WINNING STUDENTS AND THEIR SUPERVISING TEACHERS.


THE FELLOWSHIP PROVIDES FULL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALL FEES, TRAVEL EXPENSES, AND MATERIALS FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY EDUCATORS TO ATTEND HOLOCAUST EDUCATION SEMINARS CONDUCTED BY FACING HISTORY AND OURSELVES (FHAO). WE ALSO DEVELOP AND OFFER IMPLEMENTATION WORKSHOPS, MENTORING, AND OTHER FOLLOW-UP WITH THE ALUMS OF THE FHAO SEMINAR AND OTHERS TEACHING THE HOLOCAUST.
