MHM IS DEDICATED TO BRIDGING THE GAP OF POVERTY IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING GOODS, SERVICE AND RESOURCES TO ALL FAMILIES IN NEED.
THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED A 600,000 TO START A DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM TO PROVIDE DISASTER RELIEF PAYMENTS TO CLIENTS FOR LOSSES INCURRED DUE TO HURRICANE IAN. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED FUNDING TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF TIMES THE MOBILE STORE WAS OPEN IN SOUTH SARASOTA COUNTY FROM ONCE A MONTH TO ONCE A WEEK. A VAN WAS PURCHASED IN APRIL 2023 TO PULL THE TRAILER. THE MOBILE STORE WILL CONTINUE TO RUN THROUGH THE END OF 2024.
