THE GREATER FORT MYERS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE REPRESENTS OVER 800 BUSINESSES, PROFESSIONALS, AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT LEE COUNTY. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS TO NETWORK WITH OTHER BUSINESSES, PARTICIPATE IN MEANINGFUL COMMITTEE WORK, BECOME BETTER EDUCATED THROUGH VARIOUS CHAMBER- SPONSORED PROGRAMS, AND COMMUNICATE ONE-ON-ONE WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS. 1) STIMULATES THE LOCAL ECONOMY THROUGH PROGRAMS, EVENTS, AND SERVIES THAT SPOTLIGHT AREA BUSINESS, PROMOTES BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, AND ENCOURAGES ENTREPRENEURES; 2) ADVOCATES FOR THE COMMUNITEY BY COLLABORATING WITH 7 LOCAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE - THE SWFL ALLIANCE OF CHAMBERS- TO WORK ON TRANSPORTATION, WORKFORCE HOUSING, WATER QUALITY AND OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES.

THE CHAMBER MEETS ITS GOALS OF SERVING SOUTHWEST FLORIDA IN MANY WAYS. THE CHAMBER OFFERS INFORMATION FOR OUR TOURISTS THROUGH THE CHAMBER LOBBY AND CHAMBER STAFF. THE CHAMBER PREPARES MATERIALS FOR RELOCATION PACKAGES AND NEW BUSINESSES LOOKING TO OPEN IN THE COMMUNITY. THE CHAMBER TAKES ON THE ROLE OF MEMBER ADVOCACY FOR ISSES THAT AFFECT LOCAL BUSINESS. THE CHAMBER DEVELOPS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR THE MEMBERSHIP AND BUILDS EVENTS THAT FURTHER ENHANCE BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE.
