YOUTH GUIDANCE EMPOWERS INDIAN RIVER COUNTYS NEEDIEST YOUTH THROUGH MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS, AND BROADENS THEIR HORIZONS WITH EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

YOUTH GUIDANCE PROVIDES ONE-ON-ONE AND GROUP MENTORING PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN IN NEED LIVING IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. ALL OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE WE SERVE COME FROM LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS AND THE MAJORITY ARE BEING RAISED BY SINGLE PARENTS. WHEN A CHILD ENTERS OUR DOORS, THEY ACCESS A SAFE, POSITIVE PLACE WITH CARING ADULT ROLE MODELS AND PROVEN MENTORING PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY. PROGRAMS INCLUDE LIFE SKILLS, TUTORING, CAREER PREPARATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO FEED CHILDREN DAILY MEALS. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP CHILDREN GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL ON TIME, SECURE MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT, AND LEAD POSITIVE AND PRODUCTIVE LIVES.
