EMERGENCY SERVICES PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS OF SOUTH LAMAR COUNTY AND IMMEDIATELY SURROUNDING AREAS. DURING THE YEAR ENDED 12/31/17, THE RESCUE SQUAD MADE A NUMBER OF AMBULANCE RUNS AND SERVED MANY PATIENTS. THE NUMBER OF RUNS NORMALLY EXCEEDS THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS DUE TO THE SQUAD REGULARLY PROVIDING AN ON-SITE EMERGENCY VEHICLE FOR THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL'S (SOUTH LAMAR HIGH SCHOOL) FOOTBALL GAMES IN THE EVENT INJURIES OCCUR, AS WELL AS PROVIDING STANDBY EMERGENCY SERVICES AT VARIOUS COMMUNITY EVENTS.
