THE RURAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF TENNESSEE (RHA OF TN) IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF RURAL TENNESSEANS. OUR MEMBERS OF RURAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, SCHOOL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, AND OTHERS WHO CARE ABOUT RURAL HEALTH, HAVE WORKED TO AFFECT POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ALL RURAL PEOPLE IN TENNESSEE. BY PROACTIVELY INVOLVING OUR MEMBERS, PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, AND POLICYMAKERS, WE IDENTIFY RURAL HEALTH CONCERNS AND WORK TO RESOLVE THOSE ISSUES THROUGH SERVICE, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY.

RHT HOSTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE, THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TO HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, COORDINATED SCHOOL HEALTH DIRECTORS, STUDENTS AND OTHERS ABOUT THE HEALTH CONCERNS OF RURAL TENNESSEANS AND RESEARCH-BASED BEST PRACTICES TO ADDRESS THOSE CONCERNS.
RHT RECEIVED STATE AND OTHER GRANT FUNDING TO IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES AND BEST PRACTICES TO REDUCE COVID-19 RISK ACROSS THE STATE OF TENNESSEE IN UNDERSERVED AND RURAL COMMUNITIES.
