SEE SCHEDULE O.THE ASSOCIATION WAS CREATED BY TENNESSEE LAW TO PROVIDE A SAFETY NET OF COVERAGE FOR TENNESSEE RESIDENTS WHO ARE COVERED UNDER LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES, HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES, OR ANNUITIES ISSUED BY INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT BECOME INSOLVENT. ALL LIFE AND HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES LICENSED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN TENNESSEE ARE REQUIRED TO BE MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION. THE ASSOCIATION'S EXPENSES AND BENEFITS ARE FUNDED BY ASSESSMENTS LEVIED ON MEMBER COMPANIES.
