THE ASSOCIATION EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRESERVING THE OAKLANDS MANSION AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC TO PAST GENERATIONS WAY OF LIFE. TOURS ARE GIVEN THROUGH THE RENOVATED HOME, WITH PERIOD ITEMS ON DISPLAY. APPROXIMATELY 2,388 GUESTS TOURED THE HISTORIC GROUNDS THROUGH TICKETED ADMISSION EVENTS WHICH PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE MANSION AND SURROUNDING PROPERTY.
