UNION CEMETERY OF NEWPORT WAS FORMED IN 1896 BY THE FOUR MAIN CHURCHES OF THE COMMUNITY. WE SERVE ALL OF OUR COMMUNITY'S CEMETERY NEEDS WITH BURIAL PLOTS AND CREMATION PLOTS AS WELL AS A MAUSOLEUM. WE ALSO SERVE AS A BURIAL PLACE FOR THE INDIGENT AND UNCLAIMED PERSONS OF THE COMMUNITY. WE ARE A PERPETUAL CARE FACILITY. THE COMMUNITY ALSO HOLDS MILITARY CELEBRATIONS AS WELL AS COMMUNITY WIDE PATRIOTIC DISPLAYS OF THE FLAG AND MILITARY DISPLAYS.
