INTERMENT AND ENTOMBMENT: NEW MT. SINAI PROVIDES A DIGNIFIED AND PROPER JEWISH BURIAL FOR ALL WHO ARE INTERRED OR ENTOMBED IN OUR CEMETERY. OVER 11,000 MEMBERS OF THE ST. LOUIS JEWISH COMMUNITY HAVE CHOSEN NEW MT. SINAI AS THEIR FINAL RESTING PLACE. THE CEMETERY PROVIDES SPACE IN THE FORM OF GRAVES, FAMILY LOTS, CRYPTS AND NICHES. SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 1850, NEW MT. SINAI CEMETERY HAS BEEN THE DESTINATION OF CHOICE FOR SOME OF ST. LOUIS' MOST FAMOUS FAMILIES. THE CEMETERY ALLOWS INTERMENT OF CREMATED REMAINS AND PERMITS BURIAL OF NON-JEWISH FAMILY MEMBERS. NEW MT. SINAI PROVIDES THIS SERVICE TO MEMBERS OF ITS SUPPORTED CONGREGATIONS, AS WELL AS THE ENTIRE ST. LOUIS JEWISH COMMUNITY.
