LYMELIGHT FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON THE TRUTH AND MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT IDENTIFYING, CONTRACTING AND FIGHTING LYME DISEASE. LYMELIGHT COLLABORATED WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO PRODUCE THE SERIES IN 2017 WHERE REAL PATIENTS TELL THEIR STORIES IN ADDRESSING THE PRACTICAL, PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL ISSUES THEY FACED WHEN DEALING WITH A LIFE CHANGING LYME DISEASE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS. THESE EDUCATIONAL MEDICAL VIDEOS DETAIL THE LONG AND DIFFICULT JOURNEYS FACED BY THOSE WITH LYME DISEASE. THE VIDEOS ALSO PROVIDE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT PROTOCOLS. THE VIDEO SERIES HAS BEEN EXTREMELY WELL RECEIVED BY BOTH THE LYME COMMUNITY AND BY THE BROADER AUDIENCE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. IT HAS BECOME A KEY EDUCATIONAL TOOL.
