CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMITTEE PLANS, COORDINATES, PROMOTES AND ATTENDS ALL COMMUNITY CULTURAL EVENTS SUCH AS STREET FAIRS, THE GOAL TO WHICH IS TO ENCOURAGE ACCEPTANCE OF CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION.
GROUP OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESSES, NON PROFITS AND INDIVIDUALS WORKING TOGETHER TO PLAN COMMUNITY RESPONSES TO A VARIETY OF EMERGENCY AND DISASTER SITUATIONS.
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE HAS DEVOTED ITSELF TO GARRDENING, CONSERVATION AND BEAUTIFICATION OF THE GREATER PATCHOGUE COMMUNITIES AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANTING DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MEMORIAL BENCH PROGRAM AND A NUMBER OF BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS FOR CIVIC IMPROVEMENT. SUPPORTS THE LAKEVIEW CEMETARY RESTORATION COMMITTEE WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE FIVE ACRE HISTORICAL CEMETARY OF PATCHOGUE.
