CARES PROVIDES CASE MANAGEMENT AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO BOYD CO KENTUCKY CLIENTS. CARES PROVIDES SERVICES ON A VARY LIMITED BASIS TO GREENUP COUNTY KENTUCKY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SHELTER OF HOPE. AS FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN WITH RENT OR UTILITIES ONCE A YEAR. CASE MANAGERS CAN GIVE ASSISTANCE WITH EMERGENCY FOOD, MEDICATIONS, DIAPERS, PERSONAL CARE AND BABY ITEMS EVERY THREE MONTHS AS FUNDS AND ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE. CARES IS FUNDED BY DONATIONS FROM LOCAL COVENANT CHURCHES, LOCAL BUSINESSES AND FOUNDATIONS, GRANTS AND FUNDRAISERS. DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, CARES LEADES A CHRISTMAS PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES GIFTS AND FOODS TO THE NEEDY.
