WMFE EMPOWERS AUDIENCES TO FULLY PARTICIPATE IN CIVIC LIFE BY PRODUCING HIGH QUALITY INDEPENDENT NEWS AND INFORMATION PROGRAMMING FOR, WITH, AND ABOUT OUR REGION, AS WELL AS THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMING FROM A VARIETY OF SOURCES SUCH AS NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO AND AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA. WMFE'S LOCAL NEWS TEAM PROVIDES TIMELY, IN-DEPTH COVERAGE OF MATTERS THAT AFFECT CENTRAL FLORIDIANS WITH BOTH SHORT AND LONG-FORM REPORTS AND CONVERSATIONS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
