AFEDJ IS AN INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EPISCOPAL DIOCESE OF JERUSALEM AND ITS MINISTRIES AND INSTITUTIONS. IT GENERATES INCREASED AWARENESS OF AND RAISES FUNDS FOR THE SUPPORT OF HOSPITALS, SCHOOLS, AND PROGRAMS IN PALESTINE, ISRAEL, LEBANON, SYRIA AND JORDAN. THESE INSTITUTIONS WELCOME ALL WHO LIVE IN THESE COUNTRIES.
IN ADDITION TO FUNDING INSTITUTIONS IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AFEDJ WORKS TO EDUCATE DONORS AND PROSPECTS IN THE US ABOUT THE VARIOUS NEEDS IN THE DIOCESE OF JERUSALEM. THIS IS DONE THROUGH NEWSLETTERS, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, WORKSHOPS AND DIOCESAN CONVENTIONS.
