BEAUX ARTS IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO ENCOURAGE AN UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA. ALL PROCEEDS FROM BEAUX ARTS GO TO SERVE THIS PURPOSE. THIS INCLUDES OFFERING OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY, SUCH AS HANDS ON! AND THE STUDENT ARTIST SHOWCASE, WHERE CHILDREN HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT ART AND PARTICIPATE IN THE ARTISTIC PROCESS. BEAUX ARTS ALSO SPONSORS A FESTIVAL OF ART EVERY YEAR AT NO COST TO PATRONS. THIS EVENT DRAWS ARTISTS IN A VARIETY OF MEDIUMS, EXPOSING THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE TO NUMEROUS FORMS OF VISUAL ART. BEAUX ARTS HOSTS AN ANNUAL COSTUME BALL IN ORDER TO RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT YOUTH ART PROGRAMS. FINALLY, BEAUX ARTS PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE LOWE ART MUSEUM BY ASSISTING WITH IMPORTANT ART ACQUISITIONS, CONTRIBUTING TO THE MUSEUM'S COLLECTION WHICH FURTHER PROVIDES THE COMMUNITY EXPOSURE AND APPRECIATION TO ART.
