CATHERINE HESTER MCNAIR & BRIDGE THE GAP. IN COLLABORATION WITH BRIDGE THE GAP,SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO APPROXIMATELY 20,0000 TO ENHANCE THE QUALIFY OF LIFE FOR THE ELDERLY AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. THESE SERVICES INCLUDES PROVIDING PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, FOOD &FRESH VEGETABLE IN ADDITIOAL TRANSPORTATION WAS PROVIDED TO HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, GROCERIES, AND OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS.


HEALTH DISPARITIES SUMMIT, NORTHEAST FLORIDA HEALTHY KIDS COALITION. THIS COLLABORATION PROVIDED HEALTH CARE AWARENES THAT TARGETED CRITICAL HEALTH AILMENTS PLAGUEING MINORITIES IN NORTHAST FLORIDA. THESE ISSUES INCLUDED HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, COLON CANCER, DIABETES, AND KIDNEY DISEASE. THE NUMBER OF ATTENDEES WERE APPROXIMATELY 12,000.


SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS. SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 EACH WERE AWARDED TO SEVEN NURSING STUDENTS ATTENDING LOCAL COLLEGES/ UNIVERSITIES IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA.
