LIMA PERU & AREQUIPA PERU HONORIO DELGADO HOSPITAL: IN MAY, THE DELIVERY OF AN ELECTRONIC WHEELCHAIR TOOK PLACE FOR AN 80-YEAR-OLD HIP FRACTURE PATIENT WHO HAS BEEN UNABLE TO HAVE SURGERY FOR A YEAR DUE TO COVID HOSPITAL RESTRICTIONS. TWO OTHER MOBILITY CHAIRS WERE DELIVERED TO A YOUNG ADULT WHO HAD LOST HER LEFT HAND AND BOTH LEGS DUE TO SEPTICEMIA. IN ADDITION, A DONATION OF VENTILATOR SUPPORT MODULE AND RESPIRATORY DISPOSABLES. A CARDIOSTART RESPIRATORY THERAPIST DID SOME TEACHING TO ASSIST THE COVID DEPARTMENT.
LAGOS NIGERIA NURSING EDUCATION: CARDIOSTART HAS PROVIDED CARDIOVASCULAR SURGICAL ONLINE EDUCATION WITH (35) CRITICAL CARE NURSES AND SUPPORT STAFF AT LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL. ALSO FACILITATED A PACEMAKER GENERATOR REPLACEMENT AND CONSULTED ON SURGICAL CASES.
