SYNERGY HEALTH PROVIDED FAMILY MEDICAL CARE TO APPROXIMATELY 2,000 LOW INCOME, AT-RISK, MEDICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED, MEDICARE, MEDICAID AND NO INSURANCE PATIENTS OVER THE PAST YEAR. THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF PATIENTS SEEN ON A DAILY BASIS AT THE CLINIC IS APPROXIMATELY 40. PATIENTS ARE SEEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, FROM 8:30 TO 5:00 PM BY APPOINTMENT OR WALK-IN. IN ADDITION, PATIENTS MAY RECEIVE FREE HIV/AIDS TESTING VIA ORASURE OR ORAQUICK. ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO TESTS POSITIVE FOR THE HIV/AIDS ANTIBODY CAN BE SEEN BY THE PROFESSIONAL MDS AT THIS MEDICAL CENTER, IF THE PATIENT DESIRES. SYNERGY ALSO PROVIDES FREE STD & PREGNANCY SCREENINGS.
