WE PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN SOUTH LAKE COUNTY. WE DISTRIBUTE FOOD FROM OUR LOCATION 4 DAYS A WEEK . IN 2022 WE SERVED 18,728 FAMILIES, 69,827 INDIVIDUALS INCLUDING 24,998 CHILDREN, 1,792,944 POUNDS OF FOOD DISTRIBUTED. WE ALSO HAVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES. THE CASE MANAGER PROVIDED SERVICES TO 722 CLIENTS OVER THE PAST YEAR. 1,683 REFERRALS WERE GIVEN TO FACILITATE FAMILY STABILITY. 596 FAMILIES REQUIRED FOLLOW-UP BY THE CASE MANAGER. RESULTING IN 147 REPORTED SUCCESSES. NOT ALL CLIENTS RETURNED TO GIVE A REPORT OF THE OUTCOME.
SCHOOL BREAK MEALS SUMMER FEEDING, CHRISTMAS, THANKSGIVING AND SPRING BREAK EACH TIME STUDENTS HAD A WEEK OR MORE OF SCHOOL VACATION WE DISTRIBUTED FOOD OR GIFT CARDS TO PROVIDE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR THOSE MISSED SCHOOL MEALS. THIS YEAR WE DISTRIBUTED 59,743 POUNDS OF FOOD SERVING 4,728 CHILDREN.
