FEEDING SOUTH FLORIDA' MISSION IS TO END HUNGER IN SOUTH FLORIDA BY PROVIDING IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS FOOD, LEADING HUNGER AND POVERTY ADVOCACY EFFORTS, AND TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING AND EDUCATION. WITH A NETWORK OF OVER 350 NONPROFIT COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND DIRECT SERVICE PROGRAMS, FSF DISTRIBUTED OVER 153 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD TO CHILDREN, SENIORS, AND FAMILIES IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE. IN ADDITION TO FOOD DISTRIBUTION, FSF BELIEVES IN ADDRESSING THE ROOT CAUSES OF HUNGER AND BREAKING THE CYCLE OF HUNGER AND POVERTY THROUGH BENEFITS ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS AND INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS SUCH AS WORKFORCE TRAINING IN THE CULINARY AND LOGISTICS INDUSTRIES.
