FIRE PROTECTION PROGRAMS: RESPONDED TO APPROXIMATELY 220 FIRE/RESCUE CALLS, INCLUDING STRUCTURE FIRES, BRUSH FIRES, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CALLS. SUPPORTED PUBLIC EDUCATION EVENTS, AND SPECIAL EVENT STAND-BYS. REPLACED WORN OUR AND DAMAGED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, AND PURCHASED FIREFIGHTER SUPPLIES AND TRAINING EQUIPMENT. CONDUCTED WEEKLY TRAINING OF ALL VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS, FUNDED REQUIRED FIREFIGHTER CERTIFICATION TRAINING. INSURED, FUELED, MAINTAINED AND REPAIRED VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES ESSENTIAL TO OUR PRIMARY MISSION. SUPPORTED OUR CHARTERED BOY SCOUT AND CUB SCOUT TROOP.

TRAINING AND VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT/RETENTION - CONDUCTED WEEKLY VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER TRAINING ON BASIC AND INTERMEDIATE FIREFIGHTING AND EMS SKILLS. CONDUCTED A BLENDED FIREFIGHTER-1 VOLUNTEER ACADEMY FOR 6 OF OUR VOLUNTEERS. PROVIDED FEMA FUNDED SAFER (STAFFING FOR ADEQUATE FIRE AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE) MEMBER INCENTIVES.
FIRE STATION & VEHICLE MAINTENANCE, FUEL AND INSURANCE, INCLUDING FIRE STATION OCCUPANCY AND SUPPLIES, AND TELEPHONE/IT EXPENSES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE FIRE RESCUE SERVICES. PERFORMED ONGOING FIRE STATION MAINTENANCE TO ENSURE THAT OUR VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT ARE PROTECTED, AND THAT THE VOLUNTEERS HAVE A SAFE AND USEFUL PLACE TO TRAIN AND MEET.
PUBLIC EDUCATION AND YOUTH OUTREACH - HOSTED SEVERAL FIRE STATION TOURS WITH DEMONSTRATIONS AND DISPLAYS FOR THE PUBLIC. PARTICIPATED IN HOLIDAY PARADES. SUPPORTED THE BOY SCOUT TROOP AND CUB SCOUT PACK THAT OUR DEPARTMENT CHARTERS.
