THE WEST VOLUSIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, INC IS AN ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS INTERESTED IN PROMOTING AND IMPROVING THE REAL ESTATE BUSINESS CONDITIONS IN WEST VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA.

Part 3 - Line 4a
PROMOTING TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS FOR ALL MEMBERS BY OFFERING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS NUMEROUS CONTINUING EDUCATION SESSIONS TO ENHANCE AND EXPAND MEMBER INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE, IMPROVE THEIR BUSINESS SKILLS, UPDATE THEM ON LEGAL CHANGES/ISSUES AND PROVIDE TRAINING ON THE REALTOR CODE OF ETHICS TO PROMOTE A HIGH STANDARD OF ETHICAL CONDUCT.
AS REQUIRED BY THE CODE OF ETHICS DEVELOPED BY THE NATIONAL ASSOICATION OF REALTORS, THE ORGANIZATION HAS A GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE TO REVIEW COMPLAINTS FROM MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE CODE VIOLATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS A PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE WHICH HANDLE ETHICS COMPLAINTS AND ARBITRATION REQUESTS ONCE THEY HAVE MOVED FORWARD FROM THE GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS WHICH INCLUDE SPEAKERS AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL MEMBERS. THEY ALSO PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH TOOLS TO ASSIST THEM AS REALTORS. THESE ITEMS ARE PROVIDED TO MEMBERS AT A DISCOUNT.
