THE PURPOSE OF THE GARDEN CLUB OF PALM BEACH IS TO STIMULATE THE KNOWLEDGE AND LOVE OF GARDENING, TO SHARE THE ADVANTAGES OF ASSOCIATION BY MEANS OF EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, CORRESPONDENCE, AND PUBLICATIONS, AND TO RESTORE, IMPROVE, AND PROTECT THE QUALITY OF THE ENVIRONMENT THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ACTION IN THE FIELDS OF CONSERVATION AND CIVIC IMPROVEMENT.FOUNDED IN 1928, THE GARDEN CLUB OF PALM BEACH IS A VOLUNTEER, NONPROFIT 501(C)3 ORGANIZATION.

THE GARDEN CLUB IS DEDICATED TO MAINTAINING THE DEMONSTRATION GARDEN AT THE SOCIETY OF THE FOUR ARTS AND GREEN SPACES IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE CLUB EDUCATES THE PUBLIC THROUGH INFORMATIVE PAMPHLETS, LEAFLETS, AND LITERATURE ON THE DIVERSE PLANTS NATIVE TO OUR SOUTH FLORIDA CLIMATE. THE BEAUTIFICATION AND RESTORATION OF GREEN AREAS PROVIDES ENJOYMENT AND RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PUBLIC, AS WELL AS RESTORING A NATIVE ECO-SYSTEM FRIENDLY TO BIRDS, BUTTERFLIES, AND BEES. SOME OF OUR RECENTLY COMPLETED PROJECTS WERE THE RENOVATION AND NEW LANDSCAPING AT ONE OF THE PALM BEACH ROAD ENTRANCES AND RENOVATION OF THE CHINESE GARDEN IN THE SOCIETY OF THE FOUR ARTS DEMONSTRATION GARDEN.
