CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE USED TO SUPPORT THE GROWTH OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN JENSEN BEACH. BESIDES SUPPORTING THE OVERHEAD COSTS OF THE CHAMBER, DUES ARE USED TO HOST MEMBERSHIP BREAKFASTS, LUNCHEONS, AND BUSINESS AFTER HOURS SO THAT MEMBERS CAN MEET AND NETWORK TO FOSTER BUSINESS COMMUNITY GROWTH AND LONG TERM VIABLITY.
THE PINEAPPLE FESTIVAL IS THE PREMIER EVENT FOR DOWNTOWN JENSEN, ATTRACTING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO THE DOWNTOWN AREA TO EXPERIENCE THE AMBIANCE AND VIBRANCE OF JENSEN BEACH AS A PLACE TO WORK AND PLAY. THE THREE DAY EVENT FEATURES HEADLINE PERFORMERS FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES. THIS EVENT, WHICH IS NOW OWNED BY THE JENSEN BEACH CHAMBER, WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING JENSEN ON THE MAP AS A LOCATION TO WORK AND SHOP.
JAMMIN JENSEN IS A WEEKLY EVENT TO ENCOURAGE RESIDENTS TO COME TO THE DOWNTOWN TO SHOP AND VISIT JENSEN'S RESTAURANTS AND PUBS. THE EVENTS ARE HELD ON A THURSDAY, A TYPICALLY SLOW DAY FOR SMALL DOWNTOWNS, AND HAS BEEN A BOON TO SHOP OWNERS AND BUSINESS OWNERS IN GENERATING BUSINESS DURING SLOW HOURS AND OFF SEASON.
BESIDES THE EVENTS LISTED ABOVE, THE CHAMBER SPONSORS A FINE ARTS AND CRAFT SHOW,A TASTE OF JENSEN FEATURING LOCAL RESTAURANTS, A BUSINESS EXPO TO FEATURE JENSEN BUSINESSES, AND AN ENTERTAINMENT BOOK TO PROMOTE LOCAL BUSINESSES AND RESTAURANTS. ALL OF THESE ACTIVITIES GENERATE THOUSANDS OF VISITORS TO DOWNTOWN JENSEN TO SHOP AND ENJOY ITS AMENTITIES.
