SPECIAL EVENTS - THE GOAL OF SPECIAL EVENTS IS TO DEVELOP EVENTS THAT WILL BE BENEFICIAL TO THE MEMBERSHIP AND THE RESIDENTS OF SOUTHEAST VOLUSIA COUNTY WHILE PROVIDING A REVENUE STREAM TO FUND SUCH EVENTS. SPECIAL EVENTS CREATE AWARENESS OF LOCAL ISSUES AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES TO INTERACT WITH RESIDENTS.
SEMINARS - SEMINARS PROVIDE THE MEMBERSHIP WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN TO A PRESENTATION ONCE A MONTH ON A SPECIFIC THEME. THESE SEMINARS ARE TYPICALLY SPONSORED BY A LOCAL BUSINESS, THEREBY PROVIDING A GOOD OPPORTUNITY FOR THE SPONSOR TO HAND OUT BUSINESS CARDS AND BROCHURES TO THE MEMBERS.

HOW HAS THE INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTED TO THE OVERALL SCHOOL CLIMATE? HOW DOES THIS INDIVIDUAL FOSTER INTERACTION BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY & THE EDUCATIONAL FIELD? HOW HAS THIS INDIVIDUAL PREPARED HIS/HER STUDENTS FOR FUTURE EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES & DIVERSITIES?
OTHER EXEMPT PURPOSE ACHIEVEMENTS...THE CHAMBERS SPONSORS A LEADERSHIP RETREAT WHICH EDUCATES THE MEMBERS ON LEADERSHIP TECHNIQUES THROUGH PRESENTATIONS AND WORKSHOPS. THE TRADE SHOW PROVIDES LOCAL BUSINESSES WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH OTHER BUSINESSES AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND DEMONSTRATE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
