CHRISTMAS IN JULY WAS A SERVICE PROJECT BENEFITING FOUR OF OUR COMMITTEE'S NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT ASSIST LOCAL CHILDREN.TOTAL EXPENSE 4,690 AND WE RECEIVED A GRANT FROM OUR FOUNDATION OF 4,000 TOWARDS THESE EXPENSES. STAR STUDENT BANQUET IS A DINNER OUR CLUB SPONSORS TO HONOR THE TOP SAT/ACT SCORING STUDENT AT EACH AREA HIGH SCHOOL, THEIR PARENTS AND A TEACHER OF THEIR CHOOSING. TOTAL EXPENSES WERE 1,618 AND CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA REIMBURSED 1,464 OF THE EXPENSES.
