MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF PERFORMING ARTS FACILITY OWNED BY STATE OF GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES LOCATED IN HISTORIC DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. THIS FACILITY PROVIDES EDUCATION, ART, CULTURAL EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT TO A LARGE, DIVERSE REGIONAL AREA.

THE RIVERCENTER, INC. HAS RESPONSIBILITY FOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AUDITORIUM AND ANCILLARY SPACES, OWNED BY THE GEORGIA DEPT OF NATURAL RESOURCES. THE RIVERCENTER, INC. HAS TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL PROGRAMMING FUNCTIONS RELATED TO THE PERFORMING ARTS AUDITORIUM AND CONTINUES TO OFFER A WIDE CONTINUOUS ASSORTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL TOURING ATTRACTIONS AS WELL AS NUMEROUS LOCAL ARTS PERFORMANCES, CULTURAL AND COMMERCE EVENTS, AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS. DURING FYE 6-30-2022, THE RIVERCENTER HELD 16 SHOWS AND SEVERAL OTHER EVENTS THAT SERVED HUNDREDS OF PATRONS. THE NUMBER OF SHOWS AND EVENTS WERE LIMITED DUE TO PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS.
