IS TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, THEIR CAREGIVERS AND EXTENDED FAMILY; TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ABOUT ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE; AND TO BUILD LOCAL SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR FAMILIES CARING FOR LOVED ONES WITH DEMENTIA. THE SPEAKER'S BUREAU MAKES PRESENTATIONS TO APPROXIMATELY 500 COMMUNITY MEMBERS ANNUALLY. THE INFORMATION AND REFERRAL TELEPHONE LINE RECEIVES AT LEAST 250 CALLS ANNUALLY. MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUPS SERVE 50 TO 75 FAMILIES ANNUALLY. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES 20-30 REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION THROUGH THE WEBSITE ANNUALLY.
