THE COMMUNITY CARE COUNCIL SERVES THE PEOPLE OF MONROE COUNTY AS A CHRISTIAN MULTIDENOMINATIONAL ORGANIZATION, PROVIDING EMERGENCY SHORT-TERM RESOURCE ASSISTANCE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED, AS WELL AS LONG- TERM SUPPORT THROUGH COUNSELING AND EDUCATION IN THE AREAS OF FINANCIAL AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.

THE THRIFT STORE COLLECTS ITEMS DONATED FROM THE COMMUNITY SUCH AS CLOTHES AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND SELLS THOSE AT TREMENDOUSLY DISCOUNTED PRICES TO HELP THOSE IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY. THE THRIFT STORE ALSO USES THE FUNDS FROM THE ITEMS SOLD TO TO GIVE TO THOSE IN NEED.
KINGDOM BUILDERS FIXES AND BUILDS HOUSES ONE WEEKEND A YEAR.
THE RECYCLING PROGRAM RAISES MONEY BY RECYCLING UNSELLABLE ITEMS & PARTS. IT USES THOSE FUNDS FOR ITS COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.
