THE CHATHAM PTA THRIFT SHOP, INC WAS SET UP TO RECEIVE DONATIONS OF USED CLOTHING & FURNITURE, ETC., WHICH IS RESOLD AND ALL PROFITS (LESS $15,000 AND INTEREST INCOME) ARE RETURNED TO THE COUNTY SCHOOLS PTA FUNDS AS THE MAJOR FUND RAISING EVENT OF THE SCHOOLS. THE FUNDS ARE USED BY EACH SCHOOLS PTA TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR THE STUDENTS AND SCHOOLS.
