THRIFT SHOP OPERATIONS PROVIDE SECOND HAND STORE SELLING CLOTHING, FURNITURE, AND APPLIANCES DONATED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND THE MAJORITY OF THE CUSTOMERS ARE LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS. THE THRIFT SHOP ASSIST FAMILIES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED BOTH FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND NATURAL DISASTERS AND BEGIN TO REBUILD THEIR HOMES AND THEIR LIVES. THE BRIDGE PROVIDES FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESS IN ACCESSING SAFE AND STABLE HOUSING. THE BRIDGE WORKS WITH AND ASSISTS PARTICIPANTS IN IDENTIFYING AND DEALING WITH A BROAD RANGE OF VARIABLES TO REACH SELF SUFFICIENCY WHICH INCLUDES HOUSING.
PROVIDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN DIRE NEED. PROVIDE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, EMERGENCY CLOTHING ASSISTANCE, FOOD PANTRY AND COMMUNITY KITCHEN REFERRAL ASSISTANCE. INCLUDES FREE TRAINING IN BUDGETING, CAREER ASSISTANCE, ENGLISH FOR SPANISH SPEAKERS, NUTRITION.
HELP LOCAL SENIORS FACE A LONELY CHRISTMAS BY PROVIDING HOLIDAY MEALS AND HUMAN CONTACT. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SENIOR FOOD BASKETS, FAMILIES FOOD BASKETS, TOYS, AND PROVIDE PROGRAMS FOR TEENS AND FAMILIES IN NEED.
