WAS ORGANIZED TO INSTITUTIONALIZE LAW-RELATED CURRICULA IN LOUISIANA SCHOOLS, THE JUSTICE SYSTEM, AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY; TO SERVE AS A CENTRALIZED OFFICE AND SUPPORT NETWORK FOR EXISTING AND DEVELOPING LAW-RELATED EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA; TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT LAW-RELATED EDUCATION ORGANIZATION FOR SHARING COMMON RESOURCES STATEWIDE; TO CONDUCT AWARENESS SEMINARS ON LAW-RELATED EDUCATION FOR TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS; AND TO DEVELOP LAW-RELATED EDUCATION TEACHING MATERIALS.
