SINCE 1989 THE MICHAEL ONEAL SINGERS ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL CHORAL MUSIC FOR THE GREATER ATLANTA AREA. RECOGNIZING THAT MUSIC IS ESSENTIAL TO THE HUMAN SPIRIT, MOS HAS SOUGHT TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF OUR SINGERS AND AUDIENCES ALIKE, THROUGH POLISHED PERFORMANCE OF CHORAL REPERTOIRE THAT ENGAGES, EDUCATES AND ENRICHES.DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, MOS DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED ONLINE CHORAL EXPERIENCES THAT INCLUDED PARTICIPANTS FROM 28 ADDITIONAL STATES AND ELEVEN COUNTRIES. MOS RETURNED TO IN-PERSON CHORAL PERFORMANCES IN 2021 AND ONLINE MOS HAS CONTINUED, WITH VIRTUAL/DISTANCED SINGERS PARTICIPATING VIA ZOOM AND LIVE STREAM. OUTREACH PROGRAMS ARE AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT OF THE MOS ORGANIZATION; RECENT PROJECTS INCLUDE MOS REMEMBERS CDS, FREE ONLINE MOS CONCERTS, AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF DVDS OF SELECTED MOS PERFORMANCES TO SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES IN THE GREATER ATLANTA COMMUNITY.
