TO ENABLE AREA RESIDENTS, WITHOUT REGARD TO AGE OR ABILITY TO ENJOY AND BENEFIT FROM ROWING ON THE TENNESSEE RIVER. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING A FACILITY TO HOUSE ROWING PROGRAMS, TO SPONSOR A HIGH SCHOOL ROWING ORGANIZATION, AND TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT FOR ROWER'S WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

OPERATED AND MAINTAINED A FACILITY FOR COMMUNITY-WIDE ACTIVITIES. TWO ORGANIZATIONS SERVING ADULTS, A JUNIOR ROWING PROGRAM, AND AN ADAPTIVE ROWING PROGRAM ARE HOUSED IN THE FACILITY. SPONSORED CHATTANOOGA JUNIOR ROWING BY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT, COACHING, AND TRAINING FACILITIES.
