1328 PLUS MEMBERS ENROLLED IN WALKER COUNTY 4-H, 56 CLUBS ARE ARRANGED AROUND THE COMMUNITY WITH STAFF MEMBERS LEADING, 718 5TH STUDENTS ARE TAKING PART IN A SIX MONTH 4-H PROGRAM FOCUSING ON LANGUAGE ARTS AND SCIENCE CURRICULUM, 411 6TH-8TH GRADERS FOCUSING ON ELA/WILDLIFE/FINANCIAL LITERACY/LIFE SKILLS CURRICULUM AND 157 4TH GRADERS FOCUSING ON ELA AND CIVIC EDUCATION CURRICULUM COMPLIMENTING GEORGIA PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. SPECIALTY COMMUNITY-BASED CLUBS MET THE REMAINING 1ST-12TH GRADE YOUTH INCLUDED STEM, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS A NEW ENGINEERING/ROBOTICS CLUB.1286 WERE TAUGHT RESEARCH WRITING A SPEECH AND PRESENTING A DEMONSTRATION IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE. 761 4TH-6TH GRADE STUDENTS PRESENTED DEMONSTRATIONS IN LOCAL-BASED COMPETITION.
