EDUCATION PROGRAMS - AS STATED ABOVE, THE 501(C)(3) FOUNDATION SERVES AS THE MECHANISM FOR REVIEWING REQUESTS FOR RESEARCH ASSISTANCE AND PARTICIPATION, INFORMING THE AOPO MEMBERSHIP OF SUCH REQUESTS, AND MAINTAINING AWARENESS OF THE RESULTS AND FINDINGS OF THESE RESEARCH PROGRAMS. WHEN RESEARCH FINDINGS WERE SIGNIFICANT, THEY WERE INCORPORATED INTO EDUCATION SESSIONS AND PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
