IT IS THE ONLY CHARITY OPHTHALMIC HOSPITAL IN THE REGION. IT IS ALSO A TEACHING HOSPITAL TO TRAIN DOCTORS AND NURSES IN MUCH NEEDED OPHTHALMIC SPECIALTIES.
