THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO CREATE A SENIOR MEDICARE PATROL OF VOLUNTEER RETIREES WHO WILL BE TRAINED IN THE ISSUES OF MEDICARE AND MEDICAID FRAUD AND WHO WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS REGARDING MEDICARE AND MEDICAID FRAUD IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.
THE VIRGINIA GOVERNOR'S CONFERENCE IS DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE AGING SERVICE NETWORK, INCLUDING HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS, ACADEMIA, NON-PROFIT SECTOR, CONSUMER ADVOCATES, PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS AND OTHERS TO ADDRESS AND DISCUSS TOPICS EFFECTING THE ELDERLY.
