SEEKING TO PUT GOD'S LOVE INTO ACTION, THE COASTAL EMPIRE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY (CEHFH) BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER TO BUILD HOMES, COMMUNITIES AND HOPE.

OVER THE PAST YEAR, COASTAL EMPIRE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HAS PARTNERED WITH 11 FAMILIES TO REALIZE THEIR DREAM OF ACHIEVING AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP. ONE NEW HOME WAS CONSTRUCTED AND SOLD TO FIRST-TIME, ELIGIBLE HOMEBUYERS WITHIN CHATHAM COUNTY, GEORGIA AND FINANCED AT NO INTEREST, WHILE FOUR HOMES WERE UNDER CONSTRUCTION AS OF JUNE 30, 2022. DURING THIS PERIOD, CEHFH ENGAGED 482 VOLUNTEERS WHO CONTRIBUTED 1,936 HOURS OF SERVICE ON ITS CONSTRUCTION SITES AND COMMITTEES AND AT ITS RESTORE. THE 155 PARTNER FAMILIES THAT CEHFH HAS SERVED SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 1983 CONTRIBUTED APPROXIMATELY 354,159 IN PROPERTY TAXES TO THEIR MUNICIPAL AND COUNTY GOVERNMENT OVER THE PAST YEAR.
