CONSTRUCTION: THE ORGANIZATION'S CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ARE FOCUSED ON FOUR AREAS: OUR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM, EVOLVED TO A PERMANENT PROGRAM FROM OUR NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION INITIATIVE, REPAIRS ON OWNER-OCCUPIED RESIDENTIAL HOMES IN CLAYTON AND HENRY COUNTIES; REHAB OF EXISTING HOME FOR NEW BUYERS AS AN ASSET MANAGER WITH THE CLAYTON COUNTY NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM; REHAB OF HOME FOR NEW HOME BUYERS IN HENRY COUNTY. THIS WORK ENGAGED NUMEROUS COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS. THE BENEFICIARIES OF OUR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES ARE LOW-INCOME FAMILIES THOUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY WITH INCOME 30-60% OF THE MEDIAN INCOME. FAMILY SERVICES: THE ORGANIZATION'S FAMILY SERVICE ACTIVITIES CONTINUE TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO OBTAIN AND SUSTAIN AFFORDABLE HOME OWNERSHIP FOR LOW-INCOME AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES. AS A RESULT OF THEIR APPROVED PROGRAM APPLICATION, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED FIRST-TIME HOME BUYERS VIA HOME OWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.
