THE CENTER PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES TO SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND THEIR LOVED ONES THROUGH A 24-HOUR HELP LINE, CRISIS COUNSELING, THERAPY, SUPPORT GROUPS, WORKSHOPS, AND ADVOCACY SERVICES. ADVOCATES SUPPORT SURVIVORS AND THEIR LOVED ONES TO ACCESS LEGAL REMEDIES, SAFETY PLANNING, FINANCIAL AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE, AND OTHER SUPPORTS TO HELP SURVIVORS ACHIEVE THEIR EDUCATIONAL, EMPLOYMENT, AND LIFE GOALS. ALL SERVICES ARE CONFIDENTIAL AND FREE OF CHARGE. THE CENTER CO-COORDINATES THE ORANGE COUNTY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE COMMITTEE (DVSARC), WHICH INCLUDES REPRESENTATIVES FROM LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, MEDICAL PROVIDERS, VICTIM ADVOCATES FROM PARTNER AGENCIES, AND STAFF FROM THE LOCAL UNIVERSITY. THE DVSARCT WORKS COLLABORATIVELY TO IMPROVE SYSTEM-WIDE RESPONSE SERVICES FOR SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN ORANGE COUNTY. THE CENTER ALSO OFFERS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND TEACHING PREVENTION SKILLS, REACHING THOUSANDS OF YOUTH AND ADULTS EACH YEAR WITH CRUCIAL SAFETY INFORMATION.
