IT IS A STATE-CERTIFIED SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER, CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTER WITH MEDICAL FORENSIC SERVICES, HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIM ASSISTANCE ORGANIZATION AND A LOCAL VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. IT ALSO PROVIDES LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR VICTIMS THROUGH THE US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE OFFICE OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.

DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES: MOSAIC GEORGIA SERVED 3,082 CLIENTS/VICTIMS IN 2021. THIS IS A 23% INCREASE FROM 2020 AND 32% INCREASE FROM PRE-PANDEMIC DISCLOSURES OF SEXUAL ABUSE/ASSAULT/EXPLOITATION.. MORE THAN 350 FORENSIC MEDICAL EXAMS PERFORMED, 610 FORENSIC INTERVIEWS CONDUCTED, MORE THAN 23,500 ADVOCACY SERVICES PERFORMED, MORE THAN 5,600 LEGAL SERVICES PERFORMED, MORE THAN 500 COUNSELING & SUPPORT GROUP SESSIONS RAN, MORE THAN 1,000 COUNSELING REFERRALS AND MORE THAN 1,000 CRISIS CALLS ANSWERED. IN 2021, 25 SANES PARTICIPATED IN THE SANE CLINICAL SKILLS & EXPERT TESTIMONY WORKSHOPS AND OUR MONTHLY PEER REVIEWS SERVED 160 PARTICIPANTS.
