TO TAKE ACTION AND GUIDE CHANGE FOR THE SAFETY, HEALTH, AND JUSTICE OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO ARE IMPACTED BY SEXUAL VIOLENCE. IT IS A STATE-CERTIFIED SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER, CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTER WITH MEDICAL FORENSIC SERVICES, HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIM ASSISTANCE ORGANIZATION AND A LOCAL VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. IT ALSO PROVIDES LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR VICTIMS THROUGH THE US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE OFFICE OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.

DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES: MOSAIC GEORGIA RESPONDED TO MORE THAN 1,000 CALLS TO ITS 24/7 CRISIS LINE, COORDINATED ALMOST 500 MULTI-DISCIPLINARY RESPONSES, AND SERVED 3,000 CLIENTS/VICTIMS IN 2022. THE AGES OF CLIENTS/VICTIMS RANGED FROM 9 MONTHS TO 90 YEARS OF AGE. APPROXIMATELY 67% OF THE PEOPLE MOSAIC PROVIDED CARE FOR ARE CHILDREN AND YOUTH UNDER AGE 18. IN 2022, THERE WERE MORE THAN 330 FORENSIC MEDICAL EXAMS PERFORMED, MORE THAN 480 FORENSIC INTERVIEWS CONDUCTED, MORE THAN 23,000 ADVOCACY SERVICES PERFORMED, MORE THAN 6,800 LEGAL SERVICES PERFORMED, MORE THAN 100 COUNSELING & SUPPORT GROUP SESSIONS RAN, MORE THAN 925 COUNSELING REFERRALS AND MORE THAN 1,000 CRISIS CALLS ANSWERED.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: MOSAIC GEORGIA LAUNCHED THE SANE SUCCESS INSTITUTE & SANE COMMUNITY SUPPORT NETWORK, TRAINED 22 REGISTERED NURSES IN SEXUAL ASSAULT NURSE EXAMINER 40 HOUR COURSE. IN 2022, 7 SANES PARTICIPATED IN THE SANE CLINICAL SKILLS & EXPERT TESTIMONY WORKSHOPS. MONTHLY PEER REVIEWS SERVED 160 PARTICIPANTS AND SANE REAL TALK WEBINARS SERVED 27 PARTICIPANTS.
